ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP PARTNER
We work with businesses and trade associations that want a practical, straightforward approach to apprenticeships.

We support organisations at different stages, from those exploring apprenticeships for the first time to those working at scale. The focus is always the same: helping you understand your options, make good decisions and set apprenticeships up in a way that actually works.
HOW WE WORK
Apprenticeships come with systems, processes and rules that can quickly feel overwhelming. Knowing what applies to you, what really matters and where to focus your time isn’t always obvious.

Our role is to help you make sense of that. We work alongside you to cut through the noise, simplify the process and take the hassle out of managing apprenticeships.

We’re independent, honest and clear about what will work, what won’t and what approach makes sense for your organisation. We won’t push apprenticeships where they don’t fit, and we won’t overcomplicate things that don’t need to be complicated.
WHO'S BEHIND IT
The Apprenticeship Partner was founded by Hannah Hockley, who has spent over 20 years working across the apprenticeship sector.

Hannah has experienced apprenticeships from multiple perspectives, including as an apprentice, an apprentice employer, an assessor and working as a lead in both a training provider and an ATA.

That breadth of experience means she understands not just how the system is meant to work, but where it often becomes difficult in practice.

Today, Hannah works closely with businesses, trade associations and partners to help them approach apprenticeships with confidence and clarity.
A FLEXIBLE, SUPPORTIVE APPROACH
Every organisation is different. Some want light-touch advice, others want more hands-on involvement, and many sit somewhere in between.

Our approach is flexible and shaped around what you need, whether you’re a business managing apprenticeships internally or a trade association supporting members.

If you want to talk through whether apprenticeships are right for your organisation, or how best to approach them, we’re always happy to have a conversation.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY...

Last year I needed an apprentice, I needed to help, eventually after some delays from
another service provider I was lucky enough to be appointed Hannah Hockley as my
Recruitment support.
Hannah, with the minimum amount of input from myself quickly managed to get a short
list of potential candidates, I interviewed Six persons, all of which I would have given a
job to, but I only had space for one. Archie, was given the opportunity and has now a
year under his belt, doing exceptionally well with a bright future ahead of him.
More recently I needed to recruit a skilled person in the KBB industry, again I did not
have the time to do this without help, I approach Hannah, again, with minimum input from
myself, Hannah had a list of candidates, I interviewed four, and I have now taken on a
very skilled tradesperson, Darren.
I can’t recommend Hannah Hockley enough, Two very different posts, two very
successful campaigns, and as a result my business has strengthened and grown.
Hannah, did all the work, kept me informed on progress and managed to find at least two
excellent persons in a very short period of time.
Thank you, Hannah, I will no doubt be in contact in the near future for more recruitment
support, probably for another apprentice.
